Disaster Relief Australia & Chat and Chew dinner

Expressions of Interest wanted - Disaster Relief Australia

MADRA is looking into whether we it might be possible to bring crews from Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) back into Mallacoota and surrounding district to help fire-affected properties with outstanding landscape clearing work, such as brush-cutting, felling dead trees, cutting up fallen trees, clearing fences lines, removing fencing wire, etc.

MADRA invites residents of fire-affected properties who are interested in getting some assistance to please get in touch via email madra.3892@gmail.com or with one of our committee members with a description of the scope of work (type of work and how much) that is required.

At this stage we are asking for expressions of interest only to gauge the need in the community so we can put in a request to DRA.

Chat and Chew dinner

Introducing the first Coota Community Chat and Chew - which has evolved out of MADRA's very successful Sunday Soup gatherings held over winter. Chat and Chew is a potluck dinner, which means that you bring something to share with the group.

When: This Sunday, 10 September, 5.00 - 7.00 pm
Where: The Community Clubrooms, Mallacoota

Any enquires, please contact Rev Jude on 0411 016 470. We hope to see you there!

Thanks,

MADRA
